I Die Daily
The life I used to live was not life at all
Each day I awoke but I remained asleep
The sun rose but I continued in darkness
Each day I lingered in death
Now I die daily
This death is different
This death is surrender
This death brings life everlasting
Now when the sun rises, I'm surrounded by mercies
I've arisen to peace, joy, grace, and love
Through my death, I'm freed to live
In the light where I claim His victory
Each day I awoke but I remained asleep
The sun rose but I continued in darkness
Each day I lingered in death
Now I die daily
This death is different
This death is surrender
This death brings life everlasting
Now when the sun rises, I'm surrounded by mercies
I've arisen to peace, joy, grace, and love
Through my death, I'm freed to live
In the light where I claim His victory
